Most runs in an inning?
What's the most runs you guys have either let up, or scored in an inning?
I'd have to say my record is 10 for how many I've scored... and probably 8 for how many I've given up ... |

Here's one we had in NBSL earlier this season. Dodgers scored 12 times in the 9th and won the game by 21 runs. Poor Mr Mingus gave up 17 Er's in 2.2 IP's......ouch, my Era.....

I had the computer AI sim a game between Detroit and Texas. It ended up being 38-3, with Detroit scoring 19 in the 4th. Quite a game.

Double Digit Runs
My team scored 12 runs in the 6th inning of a game they were behind 3-0....added two runs in the 8th...and one in the 9th....final score 15-7.... and my team had the worst league ERA in a 30- team league....but the 4th highest batting.... just goes to prove Coors Field is a pitcher's nightmare!!

This is pretty funny.. I read this post a couple of days ago and I really couldnt remember what the most runs was for my league. And then while simming in my solo league all hell broke lose for my Tigers. They scored 38 for the game with 8 in the first and 14 in the 9th. Check out the box score for KC pitcher Napolitano. Here is the box score:

129 pitches in 3.1 innings?
LOL, insane. I'll have to check through my league and find out but I'm 75 years into it and that would take forever lol. |

4 for 6... 8 rbi's... not a bad day at the plate for Mr. Deanda ...
Those are the kind of games I dream about as a baseball player

Nice four hitter for the pitcher Hull too. I really wonder about how many times a pitcher has actually thrown a shutout when his team scores 10 or more runs in a game. It just seems that pitchers tend to relax a bit when their team goes up big. |

Yeah... but often on the flip side, when you are down by a ton of runs, you usually aren't too ferocious with the sticks either ... And relaxing may only make the pitcher pitch better

I have seen a game where 13 runs was scored in the 10th inning. That was in my solo league and unfortunately against my team
