We are in uncharted territory! We've never made it to the 10th week of the season with more than one participant still alive in the pool. Our Elite 8 have gone two straight weeks without losing a player. Will it continue?

Houston looks like an obvious pick but every remaining player has already used the Texans. San Francisco is also off the board for everyone, as is Cleveland.

I'm thinking that New England is going to be really pissed off about Monday night and will come ready to play. Miami sucks and shouldn't give them too much trouble. OTOH, I may regret not picking Baltimore, but I'm trying to save them as an ace in the hole.

I'm hoping you're right. Well, I know Miami sucks, but the Pats are only at 4-4 right now, not much better.

It's too bad you already used the Jets. They would've been a popular pick this week. Especially since they already announced Bollinger is starting.

But the defensive cancer known as Duane Starks shouldn't see much playing time, so that immediately improves the Patriots' overall defense immensely. If Seymour comes back, there's no doubt the Patriots win.

Dude, you really have to shut up about Starks. You're really making all us Patriots fans look bad. Yes, Starks is horrible, but seriously...who else can they start out there? I mean, seriously. Gay started at SS Monday night. Whoever this Matt Stone guy is, he needs to cut his hair. He's not a big league safety. Wilson is struggling calling the game from back there with Harrison by his side. The secondary is in shambles, and it's not just because of Starks.

It's a problem I thought they were going to cover in the draft, but because they spent two picks on Samuel (who's not all that bad...he's taken a lot of flak this week, but he wasn't getting any help at all covering Harrison and Wayne) and Wilson a couple years ago, they thought it wouldn't be a problem. Even though they were decimated there last year.

So quit blaming Starks. Harrison, Scott, and Scott being on IR is helping just as much.

And your point about Seymour, you don't know how he's going to hold up. He was out the end of last year with the same injury and he never came back, even though it looked as if he was going to. I agree, he's one of the top 5 DLineman in the game right now, but he's going to be ginger with that leg. Luckily, this would be a good week for him to return as Miami's OLine is pitiful, and they are starting Gus "When did I get an extra R in my name?" Frerotte.

He won't be seeing anymore playing time this season.

So, what happens in the event that all the remaining contestants go down in the same week? Has this scenario played out before?

It's possible I guess but it has not happened yet. The past two seasons we had a clear cut winner. I hate ties so let's hope that scenario you described does not play out!
