Problem exporting/importing with OOTP

My internet works fine and I ran ipconfig and did the cleaned dns but i still get the error message saying that my computer is disconnected from the network. Its not only pertaining to my site because its not working with any leagues now. Any idea what I can do?

Man, that was weird. I got it to work now and I dont know exactly what did it. It was an internet issue, which only related to ootp. Glad its working now.

Glad to hear it. I've had strange things like that happen from time to time as well.

I'm experiencing the same error message...first time in 3 years. No setting have changed, and frankly I'm stumped.

I did a search on the board for this (*pats self on back*) and here's where I ended up.

Any ideas?

Well, thanks for all the informative replies.

After MUCH trial and error, I discovered that a file called "showhtml" in the main OOTP directory needed to be opened at which point it said that it was offline and needed to connect. Once I allowed that, the FTPs began working flawlessly.
