Freezing on game

I've tried just about everything except the league back-up file. I press simulate to selected day, then it gets to the (Press spacebar to stop) while its simming and it does nothing, no game scores, no Finishing Day/Week... at the bottom, I left it on for 12 hours once, and nothing happenned. Does my machine not have enough memory to run it or what?

Version 6.12
5.99 GB Hard drive (May be the problem?)
Windows 98

More than likely the problem is one of the following:

-The same position is listed twice in the lineup.
-The same player is listed twice in the lineup.
-One position is missing.
-An "injured" pitcher is scheduled to start a game.

If none of these work, try deleting the game and scheduling it a different day.

I'd check your available HD space anyway. and make sure to shut down any and all uneccessary background programs and services.
