It's a shame that the Gload decided to sacrifice his baseball abilities this year to save humanity from certain doom. I mean, it was nice and all, but it would be cool to see him hit again.

He did more-or-less single-handedly knock Cleveland out of the playoffs.

What does it say. It comes out so mushy on my cheap speakers at work, I can't hear it all.

It's from the post-clinching celebration...it's Cliff Politte (I think) yelling, "That's a shower from Ross Gload!" after getting doused with champagne. I assume Gload is the guy cackling in the background, but I can't confirm that.

Gload's laugh sort of reminds me of that demon thing in those Jamster comericals.

He made the postseason roster. I fully expect him to hit .700 with 14 HRs.

Gload made the roster and you can see the results in the first inning!

Only .700?! Just 14?!

What little faith in the Gload you show!

Ah, but the other .300 will be productive outs.

I'm not confident Ozzie will give him a lot of playing time.

If the White Sox go on to post season success, it will prove the Gload theory that has been circulating around here for years. Perhaps we can publish.

I don't know if even the Gload can hit 14 HRs in one at-bat.
