Catobase Error

In a heavily edited solo league I've noticed a small problem with the Catobase output. On the page where it lists the draft picks of a certain team (Berlin Brewers), there are no players/picks listed. The rest of the teams in the league have that page shown correctly, listing every pick they've ever had and linking to players who are in the database. I'm pretty sure I must have deleted a file/corrupted a file when I was editing/customizing my league but I haven't been able to figure out what the problem is.

What file does Catobase use to create these pages and why might this be happening?

I'm pretty certain it uses the player history files (p1.txt, etc.). As to why it's not working, I don't know. Did the team name change? You could also check the players' files to see if they're accurate.

Team name didn't change, player histories are fine. Very intriguing...

I had this happen once and I created the draft list in the html file with my team histories information, took about 30 minutes to fix.because it was with my initial draft You can also just enter the information the you are missing from the league files into your DRAFT table in the CATOBASE MDB file.

I don't know what causes this but it is probably a error within a processing loop and the team is not being processed even though there is data in the file.

I have not been able to replicate the error and no error message appeared during the initial html output processing.

Thanks. I was trying to avoid entering the information in the .mdb file....oh well I guess I can't be lazy after all.

I noticed that the draft picks were missing from my league also. I checked out the this#.txt file and found that the picks were there but the WIN/LOSS summary line was missing. That is the line that starts with a 6 tag and the line after it has the teams wins and losses info. Then the line after that is a 6 tag with the next years start. I simply put a 1 in the line between the two 6 entries (with no info on the line, just a 1) and it processed.

I think CATOBASE looks for the summary line to determine that the next 6 TAG is the start of the next season......This is not a CATOBASE error but for some reason the this# file is not in the expected format for CATOBASE.

I ran a 4 team test and it worked. But the this#.txt file was different. It had a summary line. This may be a problem within OOTP 6.5a not writing out the this#.txt file correctly.
