I have an important question about importing teams...

Now first of all, this might sound a little bit like that question that someone asked about importing the 61 Yanks vs. the 84 Tigers or something, but it's actually pretty different.

I am currently in the year 2030 with the Tennessee Smokies, a team that had humble beginnings (started out as the Devil Rays, opened up with 4 straight losing seasons) but have now turned into one of the greatest teams of all time (25 straight playoff appearances, 9 World Series titles...several members have been inducted in the Hall of Fame.)

One of my friends also had a legendary created team, and here's what we want to do.

We want to have a season where our created teams play each other (and possibly other peoples' if we set up a site for this) to determine who is the greatest team ever. I go to my team's page, click "setup", and it gives me the option to export my team. I do so, but what do I do now? I tried starting an official "Season of Champions" league file, and when I go to import team it says that either there's a file missing or invalid data.

Does anybody know how to import a created team (NOT from the Lahman Database) into another season? I just don't see why the game would allow you to export your team if you couldn't import it into another season.

I'd appreciate any help on this, because I really think this could be fun, putting some of the best created teams up against each other.

Please respond if you have any idea of how to pull this off.

I think that export feature is for online leagues ONLY.

When Pierre releases his editor, I think you'll be able to do what you want.

when and where do you think this editor will be at?

According to the Big City Baseball website the editor is about 25% completed at this time.

Release date is whenever Pierre finishes it.
