Looking for a football sim.

I made one of these before when I was looking for a basketball sim, and I'm now looking for a football one. Front Office looks good, and so does the College years though. I don't know anything about either. How much do they cost? Can you tell me about them? Which is better? Any system problems? Are there any other football sims out there that are better? Thanks for any help.

I believe FOF by solismic software is the most polished and best football text out there. Its an easy download and pretty cheap. 29 bucks I think.

From all the reviews I've read, most of them say TPF is better. Is there any glaring problem they're leaving out? They both sound good.

FOF is way better than TPF

TPF 1.43 is still too buggy.

TPF and FOF are not even in the same league. FOF is FAR superior.

fof is tedious but tpf lost its developer and is a game that is not going to evolve. i think you will find fof a pretty sound game but not much fun. tcy is a real chore to play- absolutely no fun at all. the developer of tpf is now developing bowl bound - a college football sim. i am on the beta team and i have high hopes for this game.

What about graphics and customization? I love to play around with logos and team colors, etc. Can FOF do that? Do the geeks at FOF have plenty of facepacks and logo packs to use?

Logo's yes, colors yes, other than that the customization isn't there but IMO it plays the actual game of football better.

Sims well and you get a graphics mode too...FOF is not bad but not alot of meat for what you pay for.

I prefer TPF over FOF...it just has so much more atmosphere. I can forgive a few inconsistencies (and for the most part it is a very stable and accurate sim) for the sake of "fun". FOF was an excercise in tedium for me, though I know most prefer it over TPF.
