I don't know about the rest of you, but I reported this clown; we do not need this sort of nonsense.

My appologies to all our friends from the UK.

Obviously I live in America now but I also appreciate the thoughts as I have many relatives that still live in England, including my Father and 2 sisters. Even though they are far from London I was somewhat frantic until I was able to get ahold of them. I remember my Father going through the same thing on 9/11, even though I live far from New York.

And regardless of where the post should be (off topic) your Subway ride comment was f-u-c-k-e-d Caligula, nice show of class.

I reported this as well, Chris. Considering the subject the postings seem to be quite deliberately insensitive.

I offer my apologies to those who may been offended as well. Freedom of speech is not a license to hurt other people.

Your wish may well be granted. I once moderated a board and booted less offensive people for the sake of general harmony. We are a community that has always striven to help one another. Flame wars have no place here.

I want to give my condolence to the people that lost there lives and the people that lost loves one yesterday in terror attacks in London and elsewhere. Working together with Aurelio and all the nice people at SI in London, I was shocked when I heard about it. They are all OK, but dozens other innocent people lost their lives.... Let's teach our children not to follow extremists or fanatics...

My wife Joanne works in a palce in london called Green Park (Opposite the Ritz Hotel) and she travels on the Liverpool Street line to work every day.

She gets into work about 0830 am every day so was not in any danger but OMG I had some frantic panicky moments until I heard her voice on the other end of the phone yesterday when the awful events happened.

My heart goes out to those poor people who had their relatives and loved ones or friends so terribly ripped from them yesterday without warning and can not even imagine what they are going through.

Many people will still not know about their loved ones and my own awful gut wrenching feeling I had in my stomach for a few minutes until i heard Jo's voice brings home to me the personal danger we all live in without realising day to day.

Hope everyone's UK friends and relatives on this board are healthy and happy today.

With 3 warnings and 3 deleted messages we shouldn't have to worry about calligula any more. That being said I hope all the British posters and families are well. It's all over the news in the states and we all care. Don't let one childish poster let you think otherwise. Way off topic here but I hope to be alive the day we win the war on terror.

Too bad they can't ban his IP address so all his alias's would be gone also.

England was quick to show support to us after 9/11 and we should and have shown the same support.

I'm glad no one from this board (at least that we've heard of yet) was injured during the attack. Despite the blatant homerism shown for British fighters (i.e. Hatton), I'd still hate to lose any of you.

Best wishes for all of you and your families and your country. It's too bad we didn't turn Afghanistan (sp?) into a parking lot while we had the chance.
