Want To Talk To A Reporter About OOTP? (Must live in the Bay Area)
Hey everyone... as a long term (since version 3) OOTP player, I've spent plenty of time over the past few years getting more and more people hooked on the game. I've been talking with a friend who's a reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle, trying to get him interested in the game itself, and he's now thinking about writing a feature story about it, but he wants to find local (San Francisco Bay Area) people who play the game... Below is the note he asked me to post. So, if you're from the area and want to help OOTP get some more well deserved publicity, feel free to contact him.

"I'm a reporter with the San Francisco Chronicle, and I'm interested in writing a big feature about OOTP Baseball as a trend sweeping the Bay Area, the next form of fantasy gaming. What I'm looking for, however, are leagues and/or players here in Northern California. A league that meets to run the SIMs in person would be ideal, but at this point I'm looking for any Bay Area residents who play. If you or any of your OOTPers are interested, please contact me directly by email (mjv@whalehead.com). Thanks!"
