NBPL Has Openings!

The National Pastime Baseball League, a 24-team fictional league set in the present day but with no financials, is about to begin its 14th season.

Friday, July 8th is Opening Day, 2013. We have a couple of openings we need to fill, and although we'd prefer to have all the owners in place by then, it is more important that we find the right owners than to fill the teams quickly.

The Virginina Cannons are coming off of their first playoff season. They are young, talented, and have a very good minor league system to boot!

The California Lions are in a very similar situation. After years in the cellar, they finally turned it around last year. They were just barely beat out by Idaho for the wild card spot. Like the Cannons, they also have a very good minor league system.

-edit- The games are simmed using 6.5, but users of 6.12 are welcome as well.

To those looking, this is a great league. It was the first I joined (for the most part) and I have enjoyed it from start to finish.

Plus, these teams available are very solid teams, no laughers here. Plus if you pick California, you get to play me! Mwah...ah....ah....

Okay - thanks for the interest guys, I've got enough applicants for the time being.

I will be opening up a wait list in the league forums if anyone else is interested in joining the league down the road!

M-W-F, 8 am, 10 games per sim.

That was filled quickly. Just think how quick it would have filled if you had used the correct league name in the title of this thread.
