Secondbaseman Ramon Nivar was lost for the season today. He was injured while making a throw to first and will miss the rest of the season. The torn tricep muscle he suffered will take a long while to heal. To add insult to injury, the Dragons lost 6-0. FA Homer Bush was signed to a MLC and called up. Replacing Nivar in the line-up will be Pokey Reese.

In other news, Fred McGriff is hitting .600 with 3HR's and 4RBI's.

Killeen is 16-20 and 6GB. Their pitching has been horrible(5.20 Team ERA) and their hitting has been decent with Tiexera(7HR's) and Manny Ramirez(9HR's).

Call me biased, but I think you should replace the Houston team with the Humble Wildcats, on account of the fact that Houston is too large a market compared to the rest of the teams. It's an unfair advantage. But, I speaking clearly as a biased, unobjective, former resident of Humble.
