Stats Problems When Starting New League

Hope someone can help me on this one...

Using the rosters that came with the game, I start a new season and check Baltimore's 2B Leonard Harris (aka Brian Roberts). In his general info screen, his basic stats for 2004 show a .198 average. In his career batting stats screen, his 2004 average is a .273 average. That discrepancy also shows up if I download and use Halofan's roster set. Roberts is stuck with a .198 average in his general info screen, and it negatively affects his batting ratings/stars.

Why would this occur, and how do I fix it so that the correct 2004 stats appear in the general info screen for each player? This isn't isolated to just Brian Robets...every player's stats are off.

Thanks in advance.

you cant fix it.

ootp wont let you edit the player card general info screen season stats.

You only can edit career stats. which are the correct stats for the players.

so just ignore the ones you see in the player card in the general info screen for 2004. once you play a season it will be ok for the future years.

from my understanding from Halofan.

is when he updated his 2004 roster for 2005. he had to sim a season to get to 2005. so those stats you see in the player card in general info screen are sim stats.

Halofan then edit all the career stats for 2004 and adjusted the player rating.

Markus ask for his latest real roster for ootp 6.5 standard league and then Markus change it to fictional names because of mlb license.
