Skipping the Offseason

So I have delusions of grandeur, and I created myself in the game. I played three seasons and was well on my way to a Hall of Fame career. The offseason rolls around between seasons 3 and 4, and there is no Free Agent signing, no Coaches/Scouts signing, and no Spring Training. There is, however, a Rule 5 Draft.

Then once season 4 begins, the stats for season 4 just keep adding to the stats from season 3. The team records are fine, but in each player's career stats, there is no 2007 (season 3). Instead, stats from season 3 are combined with the current season. So I have 98 steals already after 2 games (yes, I wish I was Rickey Henderson) and Pedro Martinez is up to 24-4 after winning the opener.

Is this an irreparable error, or can I save my Cooperstown dream?

Thanks,
Ozzie II

I've played many, many seasons and not seen anything like this. What happened during this process?

Basically, the normal routine of clicking on "Advance to next season" could not be followed because the "Advance to next season" button never showed up in the standings page. The only thing different from previous seasons was that I won the World Series (another Miracle Mets). I believe I was stuck in January with no free agent signing period, no draft, and no coaches/scouts signing period after I finished the World Series. There was a rule 5 draft, but then nothing happened afterwards. I simmed a day in January to see if moving the calendar a day would do something, but there was still no button for advancing to the next season. I kept simming days until the season was about to begin. The games for season 4 are playable, and stats are accumulating, but no stats for the previous year were entered into the career stats of each player. All the team stats have been reset though, and team records are as they should be. I guess if I play this season out, I'll set many individual records.

Did you alter the schedule or schedule length at all?

No, I did not change the schedule. I barely got a chance to celebrate my World Series win (yes, I'm addicted to the game) before I realized the season was never going to end.

I did get a chance to renew the contract of manager Mookie Wilson.
