Player Released without releasing him.

I just finished my All-Star game and simmed the next day. When I checked my pitching staff one of my pitchers was missing. I checked my transaction history, nothing. I searched for the player and found him on a new team. His history says he was signed as a free-agent on 7/3 by his new team but there is no mention of him being released by me. He was 9-2 with a era of 2.57 while pitching for me. Can the team focus be doing this?

he didn't get picked off your team on the waiver wire...did he?

Nope, he is my #1 starter, there is nothing in the league or player history about him being released or on waivers.

What version are you running? Also, what is the maximum players per team?

I had that happen to me once in 6.01. He might have been released by the all-star team.
