OOTP Player Ranker 1.2

Incase you have missed it on the main board, there has been a new utility released for the OOTP Community. It's called The Out of the Park Baseball Player Ranker, and we are currently on version 1.2.

Great. Trying 1.2 now. Would it be okay to address initial difficulties here? Everything seems to load fine except Teams. I'm getting an ERROR: Could not open teams.csv file for reading. And on the next line is says 9 teams loaded. Is there something wrong in the 10th team that's throwing it off? What should I look for?

Just to verify it is a league issue, inserted another league into the settings and all was well. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrreat looking program with excellent function. Thanks for all your hard work. Looking forward to exploring this even further.

But....back to the original league. How do I know what order it takes the teams in if I decide to go poking around?

Ah, that's probably not a good idea. I'll wait for your response.

If you send me your teams.csv, players.csv and player_field.csv I'll take a look at them and see if I can figure out what the problem is.

You can zip them up and email them to me at jack@jaltiere.com

Until that utility is useful playing with ratings off, I will have to hold my praises, as I will not have the opportunity to use it!

I'm experimenting with the program in a old league, but the new one (embarking with the onset of 6.5) is a Ratings Off, Talents Only. I'm not sure what to set the other ratings to in the configuration with that league, but I'm sure we'll work out the details.
