Resigning scouts and coaches

How come in any of the OOTP versions you can't resign scouts & Coaches. It's something major left out imo.

I'm also annoyed by that. I wish that you could offer them a contract extension before they fall into a FA pool in the off season.

If you really want to be able to do this, just cut them in the last year of their contract and immediately resign them to a new, multi-year contract.
