For what it's worth --

Soccer is a great game that, like many sports, takes a while to learn to appreciate. I have spent considerable time traveling and living in Germany the past 10 years and have slowly learned to enjoy how it's played. Yes, FIFA players dive and fake injuries and all the rest, but I don't see the behavior of soccer players really as any worse than what you see in an average NFL game. I'm not offering soccer as superior to baseball, or anything like that, but basically it's a good and interesting game.

Tom, that's hardly an endorsement! I can hardly stand to watch an NFL game any more for all of the bad behavior.
