New League Opening with 2005 Rosters

Hello everyone.

I am going to be opening a sim that uses the most current Halofan roster set. This league isn't your standard "MLB" sim. Yes we will have all of the real players from MLB, but we will not have any of the real TEAMS from MLB. If you decide to join, you are required to create your team, you pick the location, the team name, the abbreviation(i.e. NYY), and you even get to name your minor league affiliates. Also as you make your team, you must make your stadium. The name of it, dimensions, wall height, capacity, whether its open,retractable roof,or just dome, whether it's grass or turf. Only limitation to the naming is that it must be named after a company, a sponsorship type thing..much like real life(i.e. Citizens Bank Park, Bank One Ballpark etc). The draft order will be snake style. As for the setup..this is how it will be. We will use 1-100 scale. Coaches & Scouts will be disabled. We will keep standings like MLB, with AL,NL, east,west,central. But we have decided that we will not have a DH in either the AL or NL. We have decided to have a salary cap of $117,000,000 for the first two seasons, then change will be considered. There will be a team cash maximum of $100,000,000 that way people can make more trades involving cash, as a lot of people enjoy that. 40 man roster rule is disabled, waivers disabled, rule v draft is disabled, also the amateur draft will be 5 rounds long, and will be after the season. This league just began today, we don't have many members as of yet, so I came here to find the good gm's of the world. The only part that some of you won't like is that a league file will not be available for download, all stuff will be done on the message board. I apologize for this, but I still hope some great GM's will give this league a chance, me and my co commish are working real hard to make this league be great, I hope everyone looks into it with great consideration. I want all the best GM's on this board that have time to please come and join this league, it will be very fun!

in the screen name lildemayo9 that is an o as in the letter not a zero...and i lildemayo is the owner, so you can ask either of us the question, i am usually on more than him

My 2 cents but I think you'll have alot interested until they read the part about there not being a league file, good luck though.

That league file part does not usually go over well, and the fact that you always end your leagues.
