Most wins/losses in a row?

I can,t rememeber what's the most wins in a row I've seen... I think it's 19. However, I've seen a team lose 37 straight games... can't get much worse!

My 2003 Expos put together a streak of 19 in a row, simulated a month at a time. That was right before my computer crashed and every player in the league turned into a little box. That's right, no name, just a little box. No stats. End of league.

I've had that happen as well, badvlad. It sucked.

My team once won 18 in a row, with 7 of those wins shutouts.

The previous season, they lost 22 in a row.

Any reason why that happens? Normally when that happens it's because there's a utility running at the same time, but it happened to me one other time.

The longest i've had is 13. The longest i've seen another team have is 23 by the Twins in 2010 in my dynasty.

I don't think that Steve and company figured it out. This may be because it's hard to recreate. I think it may have to do with screen savers, other programs, etc.

It only happened to me once, but I was deep into a cool season. I couldn't play OOTP for a week, I was so upset....

83 wins for me!

Of course, I had stacked my team in an attempt to go 162-0. I finished a miserable 159-3.

When it happened to me, it was simply that the computer locked up, no other programs running or anything. Sad to see, too, since I had built my team for the last 25 seasons and was in a position to make a run at my 5th Series title.

without stacking lineups...

my 2005 A's squad won 19 in a row, lost once, then rattled off 11 more. I think I had 4 or 5 streaks of 10 or more that season.

Mets of the iMLB!

Go to www.imlbcentral.com the Mets are on a 15 game winning streak right now. Keep an eye on them, they may break any winning streak of the current day and age of baseball. They are doing this with a team batting avg of only .260! Must be a pitchers league!

Not a stacked team, just a team with very good pitchers all getting very hot at the same time - 25 wins in a row in the final 25 games, swept through the playoffs, and then won the first 8 in the next season. I kid you, not.

I took all the pitchers off of Tampa's roster. Toby Hall, John Flaherty, Steve Cox, and a few others did the pitching for the D-Rays who finished 0-162.

0 wins? Wow... I mean, even though you have that great pitching staff, winning one game could've been possible. How many games back were they?

They finished 94 games out of first. A couple losses were in extra-innings which must have been devastating to the psyche of those young Devil Rays. The good news though was that without any pitchers, they were able to slash their payroll enough to make a profit despite averaging a little over 2,000 fans per home game. The following season they were able to win 7 games.

Well, this isnt a team winning streak but it is a winning streak none-the-less.

In the 2001 season of BaseballMaelstrom Greg Maddux started the season off by winning his first 16 games for the Chicago Whitesox. 16-0 to start a season before he had his first no-decision or loss. The owner of the Whitesox has since traded Maddux away fearing he may never be able to step into his own shoes again.

First year runner up to the World Series champs Denver, St Cloud, had a 14 and 20 game winning streak in the first half of the season.

I took the mid-2002 rosters, played out the '02 and '03 seasons, then took over the Yankees. I moved them to Sudbury, Ontario, renamed them the Elk Hunters. Built them a 6800 seat stadium. Traded away everyone who made over $1 million a year for teenage prospects. Signed Damian Easley, Mark McLemore, and a few other way-over-the-hill players to $15 or $20 million a year contracts. Made them run a 3-man rotation for most of the year. In '04 I successfully taught Nick Johnson to catch. In '05 I moved him to shortstop. Eric Almonte was also moved to catcher in '04.

They ended up 30-132, or thereabouts, and had a 20 game losing streak, and several other 10+ game losing streaks.

And yes, it was fun to destroy the Yankees.

Alright, this wasn't necessary. We all know that the Devil Rays are perfectly capable of humiliating themselves in real life with actual pitchers.
