Bobby Dawson
Thanks, Chris.
Here is a fighter whom someone must have rated; I just can't find a .tbdx file for him anywhere. Dawson is rated among the top 25 middleweights of all time at Boxrec (just below Harry Greb!). Record: 41-7-3 (17). Born in Blackley, Ga. Fought from 1948 to 1955. Left the U.S. in 1950; fought out of Paris for two years before settling in England in 1952. Defeated Gilbert Stock (twice), Omar Kouidri, Jacques Royer-Crecy, Doug Miller, Gordon Hazell (three times), and Abe Quartey. Split with Yolande Pompey and Alex Buxton. Lost to Laurent Dauthuille (first-round KO), Charles Humez, and Jean Stock. If someone else has already posted him, please excuse the duplication of efforts. I'm not ignoring your work. I just can't find it! And I can't find a photo of Dawson either.

Just for fun, you can let some real fighters kick this guy around a bit.
MICKEY ROURKE - LHW (1991-1994) Overall Rating = 1 Hometown - Schenectady, New York, USA 6(5)-0-2 Rourke, a self-proclaimed tough guy and Hollywood actor, briefly tried his hand at boxing. Fighting in the USA as well as Japan, Spain and Germany, Rourke faced professional opponents Terry Jesmer, Darrell Miller and an assortment of other stiffs. He managed to escape the experiment without a loss at the age of 38 and resumed his acting career. Rourke has been in a number of films including Fade to Black, Body Heat, The Pope of Greenwich Village, The Thin Red Line and Sin City. At 49 years of age, he is thankfully too old to give boxing another shot.

Hey, that's pretty good Chris! Did you see him in Sin City?
Have you seen/done any stats for Jesse "The Hammer" Gonzalez or Anthony "The Messenger" Thompson? Thanks! |

I didn't see Sin City but Rourke has always rubbed me the wrong way for some reason, I think I'll thow him in with Maxie Rosenbloom so I can watch him get humiliated for a while before being taken out.

In the early history of one of these threads someone rated Tony Danza and promised to do O'Rourke but I don't recall seeing a rating to follow that up.
Robert Conrad might be somebody to cosider rating. Fought as a pro in California around 1960-1962. I really liked his old show Duke where he was the ex-pug turned PI. It was set in Chicago so I was heavilly prejudiced in its favor. Ex-Bear Ed O'Bradovich played a really crusty bartender. Bear Quote:

That would be him. I think that I recall a couple of more bouts listed in a Ring Record Book. I'll check. Black Sheep had a number of guys that later showed up on Magnum PI. My wife and I are big fans of Larroquette. We liked him in the Fawlty Towers wannabe Royal Paine. Another kiss of death for a TV show. Bear Quote:

Here is a best guess on James West, if you find more info on additional fights Bear, I'll take another look at him. Thanks for mentioning his brief fight career.
ROBERT CONRAD MW (1962) Hometown - Long Beach, California, USA 1(0)-0-0 Conrad is better known as a movie and television actor. His more notable roles included James West on the television series The Wild Wild West and Mag. Greg 'Pappy' Boyington on Baa Baa Black Sheep.
