Runtime Error

Need help please
I had this problem during 1st DL and installation. I've DL'd and installed OOTP 6.5 expansion twice.

While importing my league from 6.12 it got to where is says converting to 6.5. This error window popped up on screen.

Runtime Error!
Path of OOTP
abnormal program termination.....

I clicked ok and the program shutdown

I then reopened OOTP

opened my imported league

when i opened my imported league...it started converting to 6.5 again..this time it finished. I went to play game, set options (7 day lineups, depth charts) I went to schedule..picked my teams game (I play solo and i'm 1 week past All-Star game) I'm now at the option screen where you choose DH, game speed, reduce foul balls when i tried to Continue To Lineups....the program shutdown

Thank for any help forthcoming....

I've owned many versions and have never had a error issue. This is new to me so please be gentle. *S*

When you say importing your V6 league I take that you moved the league from V6's folder to V6.5's and just opened the league in 6.5, correct? You aren't using the import feature that's within the game, right? That's only for V5 leagues.

yes i did use the import feature, but i finally got it to work when i used the restore league feature by restoring from my recently backed up 6.12 league.
