Waiting on refund
I just purchased the game, and I was dying to play it.......I tried to install the license and they didn't reconize my order ID. Yes the one I copied right from the E-mail I was sent that stated my Order ID. After several hours of trying. I finally e-mailed for a refund. I really wish I could play your games. I was even going to purchase ootp baseball, but I don't think I will, and will probably not waste my time on them again. I have no problem anywhere else. Just here.
Thanks Bobby |

Not to bash you but are you by chance from France? You surrendered awful easy. If you do actually want to play the game and aren't just trying to bash it then you need to go into more detail on what is going wrong.
Thousands of people daily have no problem with e-license in general, so either you are doing something wrong or there is a license mistake. Several hours of trying involved what exactley? Now I am the wrong person to be answering this thread because there are several people on this board that have alot more patience and computer knowledge than I do, but this was your first post on here so you obviously didn't try real hard. I have 5 different games on my computer right now that use the e-license and have had exactley zero problems. I have bought TBCB and 5 different version of OOTP and have had zero problems. Your problem is more than likely fixable, but not if you just give up without really trying or not if you are just looking to start problems. Sorry about my tone but ...... |

No I am not from France. I have played these text games for years, and I am just tired of having to fight the damn game through bugs and patches and e-lisence's, and this and that .. When I buy a game I want to play it. I am not a computer programmer, I just like to play these kind of games. I don't want to buy a game and have to go throug 25 steps and 2 weeks just to get the game playable. I have 2 children, and do not have that kind of time. I want to buy the game, and have it work. I know it's alot to ask for. I don't give up easily. I have been fighting these games for years. I have 6 text based sports sims on my computer right now, and none of them are functionable. Due to late career crashes or bugs. This was just the hair that broke my back, and I'm tired of it. I will stick to my Xbox games.

I wasn't very funny either but I have very little tolerence for someone who's first post on the board is to tell everyone what a horrible experience he had and how he asked for a refund. What the hell was the point other than to bad mouth the game.
If he wanted help he would of asked for it, but he didn't. If he even bought the game he probably screwed up somewhere along the way or since none of his text sim games work has a piece of crap computer or like I said earlier is the unluckiest person on the face of the earth. I doubt he contacted e-license and he didn't ask anyone of the 50 or so people on this board who have the know how and patience (I'm not one of those 50) to help him. If he didn't mean anything nasty by it then why register to the board and post just to say he was returning the game? He didn't have to post to ask for a refund but he thought he'd bash it a little along the way. Of course I'm a complete fanboy so take my lack of patience with this kind of crap for what it's worth Once again in review, either return the freaking game or ask for help. Don't type in the license once, it not work then declare the game crap. I would also like to know what the several hours of trying invovled. In one of those hours he could of posted on here and gotten like 15 responses trying to help. Last edited by mh2365; 06-05-2005 at 07:40 PM. |

I don't come to this forum to see someone spout off about how horrible another country is. Besides being irrelevant to the purpose of this forum, it's also narrow minded and extremely unpleasant to read. SO PLEASE KNOCK IT OFF!! |

Cap As for the French, they lost millions of young men in the Great War. I'll leave it at that.
