1985 replay, records and all-time leaders

I'm starting a historical season in 1985 using the Lahman Database. I've gone through and edited the Record Books to make them as accurate as I could through 1984 but when I go into the ALMANAC and click Record Books, everything is empty. I edited the records in the report text file of the LEAGUE NEWS BOX and it is still there. Why won't it show in the game?

Also, I would like current career leaders through 1984. I thought I edited them before but I cannot find the file to edit. How can I do this or does anyone have such a file?

The Almanac only holds record for what happens in YOUR league. So anything pre-1985 will not be in the Almanac because your league starts in 1985.

I figured out the records but I'm still having an issue with the career leaders. I'd really like them to be accurate and not have four players repeating in them.
