Ballpark Creation Questions

When creating a stadium, what difference does the type of ballpark make? Like I figure that the Dome ballpark eliminates any wind factors. and I figure that the open ballpark doesn't. And I figure the open ballpark gets rain outs or rain delays while the retractable roof gets both no rain delays but still gets the wind factor.

Does this affect gameplay in any other way?

Same goes for Grass and Turf fields. How does either affect play in the game, if it does?

I think you pretty much have it when it comes to the dome/open/retractable thing. One other factor is that I think the dome eliminates seasonal temperature variations, and it has been noted that at least relatively extreme heat can tire starting pitchers a little more quickly.

I don't know of any game differences between grass & turf. I think the conventional wisdom is that there is nothing, but that might make an interesting little test if it has not been done before.
