How to get more saves?
I finished the regular season with a 141-20 record this season. My main closer who is a rookie finished with 40 saves and an era of 1.07. I am wondering how to set up my bullpen and/or team strategies so that he gets more save opportunities. He didn't blow a single save. I just ended up with a lot of other middle relievers getting saves here and there and that stopped him from having probably 20+ more saves than the 40 he had.

Well, you could always reduce the number of pitchers you have and/or give your middle relievers & setup men low pitch counts.

Are you using 6.12? It was supposed to be adjusted so the closer got saves, eliminating disbursement.

I'd be less concerned about the saves and more concerned about how your team lost 20 games. That shouldn't be tolerated.
To have your closer get more saves, trade away some of your offense so you don't win by so many runs each game. Your middle relievers probably got some three-inning saves, coming in to finish the game in which you're winning 12-5.
