No scoreboard, again!

I have the problem of the main scoreboard not showing up during my teams games, noticed two other posts on the same subject which had no solutions. Is there a solution and if so could someone post it here.

Have you used ANY graphical 3rd party add-ons? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game?

No I've added no add-ons. I've just done a total reinstall, before I reinstalled the scoreboard was working, it's only since I've reinstalled the game completely that the scoreboard isn't working.

Help Steve, I can't get my OOTP fix the way it is.

Oops, just sorted the problem

Realised that I had not installed the patches to the game, installed them and everythings ok.

Hopefully my embarressment is compensated by the fact that others might learn from this stupid mistake.

I'm having the same problem and I have all the patches. I'm using the 2005 season auto installer. Also, the game crashes when I finish playing a game.

Turn OFF in game sound, this will solve the "crash" issue.

I seem to be having the same problem, i loaded the game up yesterday afternoon and went to manage a game and i noticed my Scoreboard and the out of town score board were missing. I reinstall and tried again and it was still missing. I have all the current patches and i don't have any add ons. Any ideas on how to fix it would be much apperciated.

I would like to know why this isn't being addressed. Sure, it isn't something that a majority of the users are experiencing, but it is a problem.

It has not been addressed because none of the testers has been able to reproduce the problem and not sure why it is happening.

Maybe it would be as simple as having the user look for files needed to the numbers in the scoreboard boxes, unless those are just done with text? How about going through the code to the part that creates and edits the scoreboard? Maybe that code depends on something else in the game that isn't working right?

if it was a code based issue, more than likely this issue would be rampant as the code would be part of all copies of this version that are out in the market.

Only thing I coudl see it being is either a configuration issue or an incompatibility with another software componet on the system (kind of like Windows Installer with NAV 2005 that i've heard of and experieinced)
