Retired Players

Is there any possibly way to completely delete players from the "Retired List". On Toadfreak's roster it has Clemens, Maddux, Glavine, Alou, Alomar Jr. as retired, but they are still active. Is there a way I can delete them from the "retired list"? I tried using the "Unreitre Utility" but it just moves them to FA and keeps them on the list. Please help.

You could edit the "retired.dat" file directly.

Do I need a special program to edit the "retired.dat" file directly?

Just open these files in a hex editor (any one will do, there are lots of free ones) and search for the terms to change.

I don't use them but I know it will work. Maybe someone with more experience with hex editors could lend a hand??
