We are a fictional Mexican League (currently in our 10th season, 2014, at the June 1st Draft). Four teams (out of 20) currently need owners; all four are not "great," but have lots of potential. League Description: * All teams are based in Mexico, with Spanish names * Fictional players (also predominately Mexican and Latino, but not entirely) * DH, FA, Waivers, Options, MLFAs, and Signing bonuses turned on. * Rule 5 turned off. * No salary cap, $50M cash cap. * Extra-OOTP innovations (Media bonuses, Minor League championship rewards, Franchise Player tag, and Foreign Player acquisition among them) * Non-owner Commissioner (me). Original Commissioner is now an owner. I've been Commissioner for nearly a full season now, with assistance and guidance from the OC. * Originally started with 16 teams, expanded to 20 in 2013. Of the 16 owners , 9 have been involved in the league since at least 2006. * 3 sims per week (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday). 8 or 7 days per sim (usually alternating, but sometimes adjusted to hit specific dates through the season). * Encourage active ownership, but not fanatic about it. (There are league rules, but haven't exactly been applied in a while.) Also encourage ownership of OOTP6.12, but am willing to work with non-program-owners. Teams: ![]() Puebla Pericos (Parrots): Original team, dominated it's league through 2010. Two-time champion, currently rebuilding. ![]() Queretaro Rinos (Rhinos): Expansion Team, went the veteran route and hasn't done too well, in large part because of inactive ownership. ![]() San Luis Tuneros (Prickly Pear Pickers): Expansion Team, went youth route. Did mediocre last season, but started strong (before reality/gravity took over) early on this season. ![]() Aguascalientes Rieleros (Railroad Workers): Expansion Team, went middle of the road. Had the best record of the expansion teams (and 11th best in the entire league) last season; tapering off due to inactivity this season. You guys using v.6 or v.5?
Rules seem to indicate v.5, since they mention trades via BOSI. -E
