4CBA - A Brand New Fictional League opens its doors

Some of you may be asking the question, "What is the 4CBA?"

Well, the Four Corners Baseball Association or 4CBA for short, is a brand new fictional OOTP league from the same team that has brought you the CDL for the last 12 seasons. However, the 4CBA is a different league than the CDL.

Here are some of the highlights that the 4CBA offers you, the potential owner.

• 24 Fictional Teams set in exotic locations all over the globe.

• A unique fictional player set that will include players representing each of the owners in the league.

• A chance to win the most prestigious prize in the entire world, the fabled Conquistador Cup.

• 15 game sims twice a week, covering one month of a season each and every week.

• No Free Agency…that's right, No Free Agency. It's a fictional league and the best way for everyone to get to know their players is to allow everyone to keep them from season to season.

• Now, why would you want to get to know your players. Well, this way, you can write entertaining stories about them on our newspaper board, which will allow everyone to create and share with the rest of the league members.

• A three-commissioner system with years of online simulation baseball experience, who are dedicated to bringing you the highest quality OOTP league around.

• Not to mention many other additions and surprises that will keep everyone talking about how great the 4CBA is.

Everyone,

If you're looking for a league that is run the right way and will be very entertaining and competitive, then the 4CBA is for you. We have spent 2 weeks putting this league together before any sort of announcement was made just because we wanted to make sure it was set up the right way!!

For those of you familiar with the CDL, this league will be just as organized and well-run! For those of you who aren't familiar with the CDL, I'm sorry because you're missing alot. This may be your only chance to join what will some day be referred to as one of the best OOTP fictional leagues around!

Would just like to give Matt, Brian, and Sam props for running/helping to run what is easily the best well run league that I'm in -- sorry to Shane, Shannon, Mark, and Bob, but the rest of my league have combined less than a third of the seasons the CDL does under their collective belts!

Just to let everyone know, there are a lot of high quality applications pouring into the 4CBA offices. Those of you who are interested in joining the 4CBA should submit those applications soon, before all the teams are taken.

Every time I try sending an application, it won't let me because it says I'm coming from "an Unauthorized Domain".

I'd like to get into this league, what should I do?

4CBA update...League is now half full with all owners very excited!! I think everyone will be very impressed with the kind of quality owners this league is in the process of bringing together.

This trio of Matt-Brian-Sam have done a hellova job running the CDL and I'm proud to be a member (and two time champion) of that league. If I wasn't already in 6 leagues, I'd definately give this one a go. They are all solid OOTP'ers and should have no problems running another fair, competitive league.

The 4CBA would like to announce that the original 24 owners have been selected. This should not discourage you from heading over to the 4CBA and filling out an application to get on the waiting list, as that is the only way to join the action.

Looking forward to getting started in the 4CBA ! With the unique format and charter, this should be alot of fun!

League parity looks good, should be very competitive, with some "strange" occurrence's for those entering the Bermuda Triangles home park.....hehe

"I NEED VALID RECIPIENT EMAIL ADDRESS () TO CONTINUE "

Not sure what that means, I tried my home address and my work address and neither was accepted.

This seems to be a recurring problem, but only affects a few people.

I'll try to get a fix up in the future...
