Hate the Huskers???

So are there any Nebraska fans out there are does everybody hate them???

I live in rural Nebraska so of course, I love em. But boy do they stink this year!!! I'm sure it makes plenty of you happy.

You have to understand that in Nebraska, we have nothing else...that's why there are so many fanatical fans. Personally, I am a baseball fan formost, but in Nebraska college football rules. With our team this year though....sigh....it's going to be a long year....

I don't necessarily hate the Cornhuskers. I generally hate Cornhusker fans though. No offense intended to you personally, however.

I dislike Nebraska. Not sure why though. Maybe cause they used to be so good for as long as i can remember, or maybe becuase of their ugly red uniforms.

I'm a Nebraska fan - I have lots of family in Lincoln (and briefly considered going to school there).

Nebraska is just one of those teams (like Notre Dame, the Raiders, the Cowboys, and the Yankees) that people aren't neutral to. People either love them or hate them.

I lived in Lincoln for a year. Hate Cornhuskers' fans with a passion. Why? They are frauds and are now exposing themselves as such.

For years, they claimed to be the best, most supportive fans in America -- that's because the team was winning. Now the NU has lost TWO games in a row, fans, students and alumni are trying to purposely end their sellout streak to "send a message" to the AD.

Keep in mind they don't support basketball AT ALL or any other athletic program NU isn't any good at. Any clown can support a winning team - and Nebraska has more than its fair share.

I think it's too early to write off Nebraska. They still have almost two-thirds of a season to go. Young quarterbacks with almost no experience and the rest of the team is also pretty green. This will show what kind of talent Solich has as a coach. KState got creamed by Colorado and Colorado got spanked by Colorado State and I think the Huskers could beat C-State 8 times out of 10. Hell they could still end up in the Top 10. By the way I'm a Nebraska fan.
