Someone needs to start a sim blacklist, a site where you can post SN's of crappy commish's and GM's I just quit a league where the commish fines you if you question a 26 player for 3 player deal in the league forum. Go Figure

I think a better idea is just to watch here and if you see a league or commish that maybe you have had a problem with and someone responds to their league opening or something send that person that responds an email or PM.

How is that numerically possible? Never heard of such a large deal. Don't see how 3 guys could possibly be worth 26 others that are actually usable.

I remember something like a 33 player deal in my old FHL sim league involving the Buffalo Sabres and the New York Islanders. The deal was voided for that very reason. Looking at the trade, it gave the Sabres a huge advantage. I ended up finding out that those two GMs were the same guy, and he ended up being fired from the league for cheating... if anyone cares... talking to him on a different screen name then I was in my FHL league, he says he's the best GM ever... LMFAO

It is a typo. It wasn't 26 for 3. Randy Johnson and 2 decent prospects for 5 decent pictcher and a bunch of garbage which he probably could've dropped instead. But he didn't and the other guy picked it up. He'll never use half those guys anyway. Basically for salary reasons.

This is all coming from a guy who traded Nomar, Manny and Pedro within the 1 week he was in the league. We questioned one of his trades and he didn't like. That's all. It's a fine league, all of the owners have a good time with it.

Steve Kuffrey I got a question to you relating this, say you have an owner that is in your league for two weeks and wants you to fine other owners because he believes he is being blown off. Then he does nothing but posts all over your website insults about your league. Then you get about 13 owners from your league contacting you, as the commish, because they are ticked off that this guy is trying to bring down your league. And this same guy just keeps telling you how he runs his own league and he doesnt want this stuff going on, then he continues to tell you that he wants you to throw people out because they havent answered his emails in two days. They you and the nl prez confront this owner and try to talk with him about how this league is good and blah blah blah, and how we other owners are taken offense to what he is saying and its just bashing the league. Then that owner jumps out of the chat room and puts posts up all over your forum bashing your league again. But instead of removing him you fine his team for what he did and warn him, but instead he quits and then tells you he is going to do whatever it takes to ruin your league. Then percieves to send instant messages to all your owners discrediting your league. And then this same , now former owner, comes to ootp and tries to bash your league some more by making false claims and not telling the full side of the story. I would hope ootp forums would not condone a person trying to ruin someone else's league. This same person Sfyder1 told us and other owners in my league that we wouldnt have two owners left in our league by the time he is done discrediting us. But As I love this game so much, even if I only have two owners left, which wont happen cause all the owners in our league love it, and if you dont believe that go aks them on your own. But anyways even if Im the only one left in this league it will still be up running strong cause this is a game, yes for realism, yes we love being owners of teams, but this game is for fun and to spend as much times as we can enjoying a great game like this and having as much fun as possible with it. iF you join a league then spend every day trying to kick owners out and complaining about everything , then you miss the purpose of the game, its a game, even in real life, baseball is a game, enjoy it, dont miss out of the fun you can have with it. I could go on and on, it just hurts to see something you work so hard on every day cause you love the game, and then someone wants to discredit it cause they could not find the love for it brother.

By the way I am proud to put our league on this site, talk to the owners of this league, they will tell you about this league and if its good or not

Well you are doing a good job of illustrating why there is no "blacklist" forum. Most cases are going to come down to one side's word vs. another with most cases not being clear cut as to who was wrong from an outsider's point of view.

One of the GMs says disparagingly "This is all coming from a guy who traded Nomar, Manny and Pedro within the 1 week he was in the league". I see where Manny and Nomar were traded for what seems to be similar value (I don't see any trade involving Pedro). If a GM wans to trade his stars, so be it. This sort of stuff should be handled in house, not brought over here.

Steve Kuffrey states very clearly, "If you have a problem with a commish or GM I would RATHER you post it elsewhere." and that offending threads will be deleted. I can't see how there would be any interest in a 'blacklist' forum under that premise.

Steve and the other guys in .400 Studios are the developers of these products. That's it. The men and women behind the magic. I don't think they want to police online leagues, how people use their product, unless of course it has something to do with a rules violation concering the ootp-leagues server.

yes I agree bigtime, this is supposed to be a forum to promote the game, and offer openings in leagues, and get people together for a game, I dont think this forum should be used in any way that would hurt someone's league or demote the game in any way. And I dont believe Steve and his associates want this forum used for that. We would then be putting Steve and everyone else right in the middle of this. Steve you dont know how much I am thankful for this game coming out, My wife might hate this game more than anything, but dang it I love it and gives me a sense of purpose in life, lol. Thanks for the game and i swear I will enjoy this game till its my time to go.

Obviously nolush isn't gonna explain the other side of the story and what really did happen. He questioned a Dustin Hermanson for Eric Gagne trade I made saying it was hurting my team. A day later this huge trade for RJ (5.95 ERA in 22 starts), I posted a message on the forum asking why on earth you'd let a trade that big through, he goes around trying to bashing me in front of the league saying GM's don't have a right to question moves my Commish and the trade committee. He went further, sending out a poll asking whether I should be let go or not. It's his 1st time running a league, I warned him that the sim will come down in a year or so, if trades like that continued. 1/3 of the league hasn't come online in the 2 weeks I was part of the sim, another thing I pointed out. He fines my team 2 million for pointing out his mistakes in the forum, so I resign, because that's total crap. Once I had resigned he sends a huge e-mail to the league sending messages saying I resigned because people were getting tired of me badmouthing them (something which never happened). Can someone explain to me how pointing out the mistakes of the commish and the trade committee makes me an "insutlting"person.

I am not even going to entertain this anymore cause its not right for the people of ootp. I will just say if anyone ever wants to join this league or check it out, talk to the other owners, thats where you will learn on whether this league is good, great, or crappy, its that simple. Again I apologize for this mess being brought onto the forums like this.

I agree with Scott and Matt. This is really not the place to be airing out a league's dirty laundry, unless of course it's referring to HornsManiac/Maddux31/ImNotGregMaddux/ILoveOU.

As for trading Nomar and Manny, those trades in no way made my team worse.

I traded Nomar, Lowe and Tony Clark for Cuddyer(one of the best spects in the game), Guzman, Mientkiewicz, Guzman. As for Manny I got Hudson and Luther Hackman for him. I got a replacement OF in a seperate deal and I needed the SP playing in the same division as the Yanks. There wasn't any deal for Pedro, because no one was willing to give fair value.

As for his earlier mention of bad mouthing other owners. Only thing I can remember is I sent him a complaint regarding an owner with whom I spent about 2-3 days negotiating , yesterday at the trade deadline he ingored my messages all day only for him to tell me an hour before the trade deadline that the guy was not available.

Correction: It wasn't 26-3 but 16 for 3 but still it makes no sense since RJ has a 5.95 ERA

Dont insult the forums with this, this was a problem that should have stayed between you and me and thats it, no other owners in our league has had problems at all like this so for one owner to have a problem with something is no reason to go onto these forums and try to ruin the whole league, there are 29 other owners that like this league and want it to keep going, so because you had a bad experience from your mind, you saying you should ruin that for all of them and me ???

Obviously you got some problems with your league if people aren't noticing those trades go through. I'm sticking by what I said yesterday your league won't last long because the rosters will be left for nothing after those big trades
