Cant Play Game and or Sim with new team

Hi all. Just loaded 6.12 on XP home sp2. Playing in a solo league and started a manager career with a particular team. Every other computer run team can play out games. When I try to Sim or play my scheduled game it just crashes and gives me an error report to send to Microsoft. This is occuring only when I attempt to play. Also occuring on first game of season. I built all my teams from scratch and stadiums. I would hate to start over.

Really want to get going with my league. Any suggestions.

Turn OFF sound if it is on is where I would begin.

Sound didnt do it. I also have disabled virus scanning per other posts and that didnt help.

Run computer manager for your team.

Are you simming or playing out the games? check the lineups? Sometimes you can end up with one player being in the lineup twice or a team without a starter. I would begin there.

You may have an empty lineup spot somewhere that is causing the crash.

Checked that too. Not that. So I am stuck. Any more ideas would be great.

have your tried another league? Maybe the default league that comes with the original installation?

Yes the default league works. As do all the other games in my league that are run by computer manager.
