ping: cuss. MLB logos?

Hey Cuss, I usually lurk the forums. But I've seen your work, and it's top-quality. I'm curious if you've ever thought about interpreting MLB logos. I'd love to see you give the Phillies a new logo, and I'm curious to see what you would do with all the other teams.

I know that's a logo set I'd use...a lot.

thanks for the compliment.

We will have to see if I can get some time to pop one out. But it might also help if you post up any ideas you have for the name "phillies".

I have a couple ideas for the Phillies, but nothing I can translate to Photoshop.

My idea for the Phillies was along the lines of your Colonials logo. Have "Phillies" arched over a rendition of the Liberty Bell. A lot more blue than the Phillies have used in the last 20 or 30 years, a really strong angular font, and a Liberty Bell similar to what they have hanging in the outfield at CBP.

that sounds like a great idea, I will have to see if I can get that out on to the screen.

Let me know what you think. I personally thought your idea of the logo was fantastic and it came out looking pretty sweet.

Dude, you need to sell that to the Phillies or something, that's amazing.

You're one hell of a designer, Cuss. Keep it up.

I wish I could design just as good!

Lets see you try to do logos for the San Diego Padres and the Kansas City Royals. I'm sure they will look great.

cuss, you need to make a whole alternate mlb set. i think it would be very, very popular. and probably fun to make, as well.

If the rest were anywhere near as good as that Phillies one, I'd use it for a nice change from the (rather mundane) real ones.

If Cuss made an alternate/futuristic set of MLB logos, I would so use them in my league. I like that Phillies one very much!

Nice work, as usual.

If I ever felt the need to change my Pennsylvania Freedom logo, your tertiary logo would work nicely.
