OOTP sound

Everyone is posting about sound problems.
What sounds does OOTP have? The little pop noises when you click something? That is all the sound I have ever heard.

Am I missing something?

You don't hear the 1812 Overture blasting when one of your players hits a home run?

If you're playing pre-1947 American baseball, then the All-American Mod (a namefiles/ethnicites/nation/cities file pack) is for you.

Nope, I get the William Tell Overture whenever someone hits a triple.

Looks like Markus will always leave the game in a broken state

Don't you just hate that?

i guess you never play out your games.

it crashes for some if you play out your game and when the last pitch is thrown and game end it will crash

there no sound if you sim only and no sound problem with simming your game.

I have played out lots of games and all I get is the little beep and pop noises when I click on stuff.

Your sound must be turned off.

Heh

I have been playing since version 4 and never before went into game setup. I did and turned sound on. Never knew there was sound in the game.
It sucked so I turned it back off.

I love the sounds, I am surprised that there is no patch that will fix this problem.

I haven't used sound in V6 so I don't know if it's the same or not, but I really had to hand it to Markus for the obscure tunes he found for V5. Billy Squier (The Stroke) and Zebra (Wait Until the Summer's Gone)? I thought I was the last person on earth that was a Zebra fan.
