Question about ratings/statistic weights

When you select to have the ratings weigh a certain amount, and then you have the option of a certain weight for the current year, the last year, and 2 years previous, does the AI use the correct stats from the html page for the weighting? or the wrong stats from the players page that everyone has had problems with? Thanks for any help.
