Logos needed!

I'm creating a fictional league and would really appreciate some help with the logo designs. I've seen some of the work that has been done by the designers and they are absolutley awesome. So anyway here is a couple of my requests. Thank You very much in advance!!
I'm not really looking for anything special just what ever you all can come up with would be great. I don't have any team colors in mind so whatever you all think would go best.

Northwest Division:

Alaska Glaciers
Boise Spuds
Portland Pioneers
Sacramento Gold
Hawaii Explosion

Well, as it so happens, I've had a Portland club called the Pioneers in my league since 2031. Here's the logo I ended up with for them. It's not much to look at, granted, but I always intended to go back and tweak it sooner or later.

Thanks Spindel, not to bad, I'm not really that picky about what the logos look like. Seeing as how I've been playing the OOTP series for about 3 years with no logos at all. So thanks a lot!

Here are a couple of Pioneer logo's that I am going to try to use. Do you perfer one better than the other? If I have time tonight will try tonight, otherwise this weekend...

(the downside of the new j-o-b is that I lost my graphics software

Logo contest for Week 10 was the gold sox. I did a logo w/o any socks. check out the contest:

Both logos are very cool. I especially like the Hawaii one. Like the way you made the X and the N in explosion bigger. Thanks so much for your effort, I really appreciate it.
