Lets Crash! Put on your baseball shoes and dance the bluez! Lets Swing!

Ok, I just started a new Manager Career mode. Once I get to the actual game screen it crashes every time. I have tried it with and without sound, and receive the same results. All of my other sim leagues work fine, meaning the ones I just let the computer run throughout. Those games sim fine both when watching the sim in pbp mode and just simply simming from the schedule view. So what can the conflict be?

Running Windows XP.

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Ok, I do not know if this is exactly the problem, but it seems as though it is due to the fact that I am in Manager Career mode. I am figuring this since I can not get into my Manager Screen. Once I click that, it shuts down. I can get into everything else. Is there anyway to get out of the manager career mode? I have looked, but it doesn't seem so, since I can not get into the Manager Screen to actually tell the manager to quit.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game?

Steve if I do that, then all I have to do is copy all of my league files, place them someplace else, and then put them back, after the reinstall, correct? Before I do that, take a look at my edit that I posted below my initial post. It seems as though I edited my post at the same time you responded.

Mod forum has MM utility which enables you to do that.

Thank you for the responses Steve. I have downloaded the utility and I left courier a couple of questions. Now Steve, since you have seen that this utility works, does the button that disables the Manager Mode appear inside the Manager Screen itself? Because if so, I was unable to get into that screen, since it would always crash. If it is not located there, then where does this button pop up?

Ok Steve, I tried that and it seems that is not necessarily the issue. The rest of the league will sim, but it just will not play my game. Once I try to play my game, it crashes. Any clue as to why it is doing this? What can possibly be the conflict? Manager Mode is off, and I put everything on to controlled by computer, but it just will not run for my game, and my game only.

I just even tried to reset the league and that did not work either. Now before I give up on this, if there is possibly any way to save this league it would be appreciated since it has over 60 years of history behind it. Am I looking at the fact that there will be no way to fix this league? Obviously I can not go any further since it will not play game 1 for my team.

both my friend and I also have this issue... you play through the game.. and then it crashes... when you reboot the game up... it says who won or lost... but no stats are saved... the victory isn't saved.... and none of the players are fatigued.... its almost like the game got cancelled... and you end up playing one less game (or however many times it happens)... sorta frustrating
