Braves Starting Another Postseason Fold?

The Braves are currently getting waxed by the Giants in game 1, with Glavine giving up 10 hits and 6 runs in 5 innings. Could the Braves be starting yet another postseason failure?

Chris Hammond...regular season ERA below 1...playoffs 2/3 IP, 2H, 2 BB, 2 ER. Guess he's not "Clutch."

Well this is only game one is what we have to remember. So I think the Braves can pull out the next three games, just one quick bump in the road.

oh, absolutely the Braves are capable of coming back and winning the series. but given their postseason track record, this loss has to be somewhat disconcerting.

Well, Ortiz is a helluva pitcher, tomorrow the Braves will even it up with Millwood on the mound. Hopefully the Braves put this loss behind them after today.....This Giant team is good though, who knows didn't they win game one in 2000?

What a moron. The Braves have been resting their players the last month or so, and they haven't been the Braves they were in June-mid September. So now, he jumps on the Giants bandwagon and says they will beat the Braves??? What a moron, the Braves won't give Bonds anything to hit, and once Smoltzie is in with a Braves lead it's money. The Baseball Tonight crew and all other baseball "experts", and I use that term very lightly, should remember the Braves won 101 games in the regular season and the Giants are a wildcard team. The Braves have three great starters going for them and the Giants don't is plain and simple. I wish that Baseball Tonight and all of ESPN would get off the Bonds, Schilling, and Johnson bandwagon. Oh well, the Braves will show them on the field...

Aside from my angry post, what are y'alls playoff predictions?
I see you've had a chance to relax a bit..

Yay, Braves lost!

I'm rather indifferent towards SF, but hate the Braves.

I am starting to wonder if Cox is a poor manager in clutch situations like the playoffs?

It doesn't really matter. The Cards are going to the WS anyway. It's that whole Kile passed and his team will win kinda thing.

For some reason, I'd like to see Bonds do well this year.
