Great roster set, Mike! Thanks!

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but there are two Omar Minayas in the game. One is the scout for the Mets, the other is a FA scout. Neither has what I believe is his correct age (45). Also, I was wondering why some teams are missing coaches (MIN, NYM, STL, TOR).

Thanks again.

Great roster set. Here are a couple of things I've come across:

Mark Quinn, OF, Stl, is missing his career stats, which makes his show up for 2005 rookie leaders.

JR House, C, Pitt, is listed as a FA, but he's still with Pittsburgh and has a rotator cuff injury that will keep him out Sept.

Yup, he was released last month and is apparently enrolling in college, perhaps to play football again.

Mark Grudzeilanek (sp?) is missing his 2004 stats as well. I haven't had much time to mess with it to see if there are other errors.

That aside, good job as usual Halofan. Keep up the good work!

why is players stats for 2004 in general info is different than what it shows in career stats for 2004?

and which one is correct?

Does cpu teams evaluate 2004 stats in the general info screen or career screen?

There is an updater that is now up on the Download Center (same place you got the original installer from), as well as here.

I don't think anyone has figured out how to update last years stats in general info yet and I think it's the same issue in all roster sets available. The career stats are the correct ones.

Great job once again halo.

EDIT: quick note on astros... qualls is in the bullpen and Backe is a number 4. Backe's endurance is only a 45 as listed - possible needs to be jacked up a few points in next update since he is a somewhat proven starter after the strech run he had last season.

When it concerns Backe, his stamina will remain thi way until at least the next update. Mainly because a playoff series does not make a pitcher what he is during the regular season, not to mention that Backe is a converted OF from just a few seasons ago. These kinds of things are considered when adjusting ratings. Now if he can pull 5.3-6 innings per start then we have a whole other ball game. When it concerns Qualls, i dont set the rotations or lineups because there is over 4000 people using my set and each one will have a mixed reaction on who and what i think deserves to be played so i leave that stuff up to each individual GM.

Good stats... I just got to look through them, you've done alot of good work... One thing I would hope for would be upping Bronson Arroyo's endurance... Last year he averaged around 6 innings per start, taking into account 3 relief appearances late in the year. He only has a 42 tho, which never even translates to 5 innings for me...

Edit: Just another thought... Gabe Kapler and Tony Batista are playing in Japan, it might be a good idea to make them injured for the amount of time that they will be in japan so that they can be realistically kept out of the majors... just my

Also... I have a ton of free time at the moment, if you'd like some help on some small insignificant things like adding nicknames to players and such, to give your file a more complete edge, I'd be willing to do stuff like that for you for nothing other than the satisfaction of helping make my favorite stats update even better... My email is Derek4jc@gmail.com let me know if you'd like the help, cus I'd love to do it!

Anyways, Thanks for the work you do tho! I appreciate it!

dont really use rotoworld often as i have the same information for my other site i help run, www.rotoamerica.com and as for baseball america, i like some of the articles, but i think they have taken a turn from their original direction since they were bought out a few years ago so i dont visit it that often
