New League with 2005 Rosters (please read)

After much work, I'm finally ready to launch my new league with real teams and real players. The league is the CLC (Carney Lansford Challenge). The website is all but done and will be up either later tonight or early tomorrow. What I'm looking to do is find some owners that are willing to sign on with us and enjoy the ride. I'm currently in 3 leagues (see signature)that have a combined 30 sim seasons under their belt. I felt that it would be good to run one with real players and teams, since none of the other 3 feature that. Unlike my other leagues, this one will feature no mandatory writing..i'm just looking for owners who are willing to export, be active, and join our forums community. 17 of the 30 teams are spoken for by guys in the 3 leagues..those that are open are:

Jays

Orioles

League settings will mirror those in real baseball initially. Everything will be up for discussion, as I'd ideally like to see everyone have a say in things...that's all for now. truthy..i didnt get your email about the indians. Send again. And yes, Mike Fitterer is in this league. But he's also been a member in good standing in the MBBA for 4 seasons and in the FIBB for 2. And believe me..with the cast of characters that are in those 2 leagues..if he was pulling any bull****, he'd be gone immediately. Count me as one of the guys who have come around on Fitt.

Plus he doesnt have the admin password anyways!

"FittDog" proved his desire to be an MBBA owner over the longest we have ever kept a "vulture" waiting in the wings. We all expected him to go away when it was clear we were going to test his commitment, but he did not. It was a divisive issue in the league, but he was given a chance at full ownership based on his continued contributions as a vulture. He has exceeded the participation standards for MBBA owners since this time. He is a team owner and nothing more. I recently gave him the opportunity to join the FIBB - which I initially outright denied to him - based on his work in the MBBA. Again, he is just a team owner.

Surely he made mistakes in his past, but he has proven to the MBBA / FIBB owner community that he can be a highly active involved team owner. This isn't life and death here people, it's online baseball. Everyone should be given consideration based on their efforts and not haunted forever by their past.

If you do not want to be a part of SteinR's new league or the MBBA or the FIBB b/c of Fitterer's ownership that is certainly your right. Frankly, if that is your sole reason for rejecting those leagues, we really don't want you anyway. Go spread your hate somewhere else. We all know who he is and what he has done in the past and more importantly what he has done in our leagues.

No password and madd's approval....I have no prob with fitdog in the league...just like to be a part of a good honest league. I hope others would feel the same that have joined and plan on joining.
