Problem I hope you can help with...

Hi all, just bought the game and am trying to figure some things out. One thing in particular is driving me nuts. I have a guy who should be on the active roster acquired in a trade. The player is on my 40 man roster, but when I try to drag him over to the active roster the game tells me to drag him to the bottom right of the screen (I have room on the active roster as well). I do that, and it tries to put him on waivers. Him being a talented guy he obviously refuses (I wouldnt put him on waivers anyway), and Im right back to where I started. The game also wont let me continue simming since I have to either release the guy or assign him. Problem is, I cant assign him and sure as heck dont want to release him. Any ideas on what is going on?

Nm, got it.

Wasnt dragging him into onto the active roster from the designated for assignment box.

Welcome to the forum and a great game.

You don't drag him from the 40 man to the active roster. You have to move him from whatever current level he is at. Besides being on the 40 man he should also be listed on the DFA list or AAA, AA, or A ball. So find him on one of these lists and drag him to the active roster from there and you should be set to go.
