Problem w/ league folder

I had to reinstall my game, and one of my folders that was in the past league now has no teams or players. I had moved the league folder to desktop to make sure this wouldn't happen. Any ideas what to do? Thanks.

Do you still have the copy that was on your desktop?

If so look at the players.dat file... and check how big it is.

4 bytes, this sounds a little small, could this be my problem?

Yep. That's the problem. Something may have happened when you copied it to your desktop. (I assume you hadn't had an issue with this league before hand.. or the players.dat file was much bigger then)

That sucks. Is there anyway to get it back? Thanks.

This sounds like you may have dragged and dropped the league onto your desktop - that will usually just create a shortcut to the original file and not actually move it. If you delete the original file (or groups of files in this case) then that link you created is no longer useful as it leads to nowhere. Not helpful info for now but useful in the future as your initial intention (moving your league folder) was a good idea.
