runtime error

I just downloaded the new patch for ootp6, and now whenever i try to do something inside the game i get a "runtime error" and the game closes. i never had this problem before i d/loaded the new patch, is this error coming from the patch or could there be something else wrong with my computer?

Make sure patch is installed "INSIDE" the original OOTP folder.

yeah it's inside my ootp folder, i installed it the same way i had for all the previous patches so i'm lost on why i'm having problems all of a sudden. am i going to need to re-install ootp6?

ah what it says is

on top- "microsoft visual++ runtime library"

and then it says "abnormal program termination"

then i click "ok" and the program closes

i think i'm just going to try to re-install the ootp game, dont think i'm going to try to install the new patch again though lol

hey, yeah, i had this same problem, and when I reloaded the league it was stuck on the previous day and I can't get it to go forward.

jared have you found a fix yet? or does anyone know of a fix? i have tried reloading that didn't work.i would try reloading a different version if i knew where and how everytime i try i get 6.12.someone please help!!!!

Okay, I've done some more analysis of the problem, and here's what I've figured out.

The 6.12 patch is having a problem with completing days. I play every game manually, so maybe someone can try it with simming and see if the same problem occurs. After I finish every other game, it generates the reports of everybody, then that runtime error comes up and OOTP closes. Then the window of the game report pops up. When I reload the league, I have to go to "Simulate Day" to get it to progress.

Right now, this is only an inconvenience, since I haven't seen anywhere that game play is affected (unless other people are having different problems). I find it really odd that it comes up after every 2 games instead of after every game. But whatever is causing definitely needs to be fixed, and hopefully soon.
