2002 MLB playoffs available on Internet - sort of
Yes, all of the MLB playoff games will be available via the Internet both live and replayable from mlb.com for the low, low price of $19.95.
But there's a catch. You can't buy or receive this package if you live in the United States, Japan, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Guam. Isn't that just great?

Are you serious? That makes no sense. Oh well, I wouldn't pay the $20 anyways.

We probably wouldn't be able to win because the government put money in more useful stuff than the military, stuff that will improve quality of life rather than take some lives.

Why pump money into a military when you know your country men can't fight? If I remember this right, isn't Canada formally a French colony or something like that? That would explain a lot.

Let's not forget, we have some French parts, and a lot of Mexican parts, not exactly two world powers either.

Guess what - Canada doesn't need much of a military. When you are a country that has supported the killing of Palestinian Muslims in the Middle East for decades, as the US has done, you need a large army to defend from yourself from retaliation. When you don't go around getting involved in conflicts you have no business being in, your people can rest easier without "Code Red" national security warnings. A nation that cares about the environment and doesn't go around fighting useless wars with other nations is #1 in my book. Did I mention cold weather is good?

Québec is 80% French, New Brunswick is a little more than 33% I believe, and the rest of the provinces have low percentages.

On the other hand, it's not as beautiful as it seems. Envoronmentalism is stronger than the USA, sure, but it's no France/Netherlands/whatever. It's not that beautiful, though it's still pretty good. The Canadian military is a peacekeeping one. The notion of peacekeeping was introduced by Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson sometime around 1960, and that's the main purpose of the Canadian military. Our forces are laughable really, we all make fun of them (I think we have 6 helicopters and 19 F-16).

What is the point of having a baseball only forum? It seems that just about every thread here turns into something else.
