OOTP5 error

Guys,

Just installed OOTP5 on my laptop and receive the following error when trying to access the game:

OOTP5 caused an invalid page fault in
module <unknown> at 0000:00000000.

Steve, I was (and am) running DirectX 9.0c yet the problem persists. Also, when I click on the "Game Configuration" link from the Start Menu the following error pops up:

Error Starting Program
The GAME CONFIGURATION.EXE file is linked to missing export MFC42.DLL:6648.

Thoughts?

Fixed.

Changed O/S (Win98 to Win00) and I'm golden.
