Quick question.

Why are teams without any cash allowed to have promotional days?

Are we assuming that some local advertiser is footing the bill? Are more than 5 allowed in a month now? Seems more realistic to have more promo days in a month if you have the cash rather than letting teams have them without any cash.

Just curious.

I think it's only *free* promotion days that are allowed.

he talking about promotion that are free to get.

readme says
" Free Promotion days can be scheduled now when you have no money available"

When was this fixed, I am not going to manually edit 20-30 or more players in my league. If someone has a talant of 8 to 10 in control and never move from a rating of 1, then nothing is fixed.

The answer is still there. It was fixed in 6.11 (see above post). You have no choice. Edit your players or they'll stay 1 forever.

So players created with 6.11 or 6.12 (or 6.xx for that matter) are good?

It only affects players imported from v5 with v6.4 or lower?

We're looking for an answer to that Matteo. I assume that everything is fine because its been many months since 6.11 came out and no one is complaining about 6.11/6.12 generated players getting stuck at 1 control.

A side note: I'm greatly impressed with the OOTP community. The number and quality of the posts on the bulletin boards is unbelievable. Thanks to all the guys who have come up with mods. I'm using a few of them already, even though I'm a green rookie to OOTP.

Anyone notice if eye/patience ratings are rising to meet their talents in the new patch or are they still stuck if the rating starts too low?

One annoying bug that's still present is the inability to adequately convert a player to a new position at the major league level. I re-ran a test I first tried back in June and found the same results, unfortunately.

I know this is a relatively minor issue for most people, but it would be nice to be able to convert a major league right fielder to a left fielder without having to send them to the minors for a few months.
