Ankit"s 5.2-erase career stats?

The read me for Ankit"s DB 5.2 says to erase all career stats after importing. Why is this necessary? If I want the correct career stats can I enter them using Pierre"s Career Editor without affecting anything? If so, is there a specific time to do it, like after the first season for example?

I believe you must lose the career stats bc in order for Ankit to create the ratings the way he wanted, every year of players prior years had the same stat line, his career average. If you look at the player cards, you will see this. So their career stats are off. As for Career Editor, never used it, don't know.

I didn"t think of that, and erased them without checking. I'm guessing that editing in the correct stats won't affect anything but hope someone can confirm this.

Yes, if you want correct historical stats for the players use Pierre's Career Editor and you can do that anytime. In my experience, the only thing it impacts is the career leader board.
