Runtime Error Need help

I cant play more then 5 min without getting a runtime error C++++ Microsoft visual libary. abnormal program terminated. Then it closes out. I got the most up to date patch installed. Thx and plz help

microsoft xp

Tell me EXACTLY what you do and what the game does, is it at the same point every time or do different things cause it?

I load up ootp. Select start custom league or historical league and get the runtime error msg when i go to generate league.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling.

So the game opens and you get all the way to the point of generating the league and then it crashes? How much free HD space do you have? Are you making any drastic changes to any of the settings when you create the league?

Steve thanks for all your help your quick response to my problem was great and says alot for the OOTP managment. I finally did get it to work by deleting all OOTP files including the setup and re-download the setup. Dont know if the problem was transfer of files or what but it is running fine now.
