For others, I generally use them to combat aging. I did read some book after injuries to recover quicker, but now I think it's a stupid idea, especially for Control books, since they are much rarer than Stuff ones. If I play a pitcher again, I will save all books other than Poise ones for aging.

However, there is another exception, the level 1 books. In the career I posted, I start reading all level 1 books at the beginning of 30s when my Stuff rating reach 100. In 2-3 years, I "learned" all other 7 pitches. I felt it improves my performance, but not sure how much.

At the end of year, I signed an 1 year extension with Yankees at $13,000,000. Since most players stay and we did made playoff two years in row (lost in league champ both time), I decide to give them one more year before jumping ship.

Overall, this is quite a bad year to me. The stats dropped significantly...

An interesting thing is that both years after the "outstanding" batter award (2014, 2017), I performed badly... is this some kind of curse!?
